Born in the rural cornfields of Southern Illinois, my career has taken a winding road. But the one constant throughout is always loving the power of words. It started with reading at age 4 and has developed into a passion for the emotions and desires a specific order of words can evoke. I’m fascinated by understanding human nature and what people need. Whether it’s to inspire, educate or entertain, there’s an art to orchestrating syllables in a way that differentiates a brand’s voice and inspires people to action in a specific moment. And that’s where I come in.

 

When I’m not mercilessly smacking my keyboard while working (my poor keys would have bruises if they could) I can be found baking, compulsively watching documentaries, traveling, and ensuring my dog maintains the effortless lifestyle he’s become quite accustomed to.
